Over my 3 months at Blur, I worked on a variety of client and internal projects (most covered by NDA).
Most of my work was with the mechanical team, but I also dabbled in electrical work at times.

Ideated and designed precision optics mount with micron-level accuracy to resolve production alignment issues
Performed thermal FEA on a human eye in SolidWorks for steady-state and transient models of load application to determine power needs and safe temperature limits (2W to 4W and 44.5°C heating temperature)
Designed and carried out testing with a fixture to determine friction hinge torque range
Reduced PID rise time by 23% and settling time by 60%
